Addiction Treatment

"You can get off." - JoAnne Barge

Addiction is horrible to live with, whether it’s you, a loved one, or within your family. It’s also very difficult to overcome on your own.

If you were struggling with addiction, be it substance abuse or another form, if you come to see me we will design an individualized treatment plan just for you. I am certified in the treatment of substance abuse by the American Psychological Association and NAADAC.

Many people think that rehab means inpatient. This has been perpetuated in the media but rehab means rehabilitation and it can occur in many different ways and settings. Outpatient treatment with a certified specialist is effective for most people. If inpatient rehab is necessary, I will determine this during your consultation and will provide you with an appropriate referral.

And if you are the spouse, partner, parent, child [& Adult Children] of an alcoholic or addict, then you too have been affected.  The damaging effects can be long lasting so think about help for yourself.

Treatment does not begin and end with the addict.

Whether it is you that is addicted, or you are someone very close to the addict, reach out for help.
